SENIOR HURLING
The recommencement date of the senior championship will finally be known after this weekends under 20 All Ireland semi final between Tipperary and Wexford.

JUNIOR HURLING
The junior hurlers fell just short in the mid quarter final last weekend as the game against JK Brackens proved to be very definitely a game of two halves. Brackens started much the stronger and by half time they held an 8 point lead. They strectched this to 11 within 3 minutes of the restart but after that it was almost all Upperchurch as we outscored them 1-10 to 0-3 which left us 1 adrift but ultimately unable to get the equalizing score. Full time score in The Ragg was 1-14 to 1-13.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL
Our junior footballers exited the championship yesterday at the mid final stage against a very strong Moyne-Templetouhy side. Despite falling 9 points adrift at one stage they fought back to reduce the deficit to a goal entering injury time but ultimately Moyne held on for a 2-11 to 1-10 victory.

ALL IRELAND POC FADA
Best wishes to Pat Ryan who represents the club and indeed Tipperary & Munster in the u16 inals of the All Ireland Poc Fada in the Cooley Mountains tomorrow Sat Aug 3rd. Brendan Cummins will be aiming to claim another title in the senior competition on the same day.
