Weekly Club Notes – Oct 28th 2016

JUNIOR HURLING
Our junior hurlers are out in the county semi final against Cashel King Cormacs on Saturday at 2:30pm in Clonoulty. Please come along and support.

UNDER 21 HURLING
Our next game in the mid championship is fixed for Sun 6th Nov at 12pm in Holycross against either Moycarkey-Borris or JK Brackens Óg

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CHARITY RUN AND WALK
Now is the time for the parishes athletes to start training for our annual charity run and walk. This years run will take place on Sunday Jan 8th. More details will follow in due course.

JUNIOR HURLING
Our junior hurlers are out in the mid final against Gortnahoe-Glengoole on Saturday at 4pm in The Ragg. Please come along and support. This will be a repeat of this years mid junior league final.

NIGHT AT THE DOGS FUNDRAISER
We’d like to extend our thanks to all who were involved or contributed to a very successfully Night At The Dogs fundraiser at Thurles Greyhound Stadium last Saturday night. The entertainment carried long into the night well after racing had finished. Congratulations to Ailbe Cummins on winning the €500 prize in our buster race. The winning sequence of dogs in the race was 5, 1, 6, 4, 3, 2. Thanks to all the athletes and also to Connie Ryan for acting as auctioneer. Matt Ryan justified his billing as the top earner in the auction by winning the Black And Amber 1k. Paul Shanahan finished 2nd with Mike Gleeson in 3rd. Footage of the night will be uploaded to social media in the coming days.

JUNIOR HURLING
The junior hurlers had a comprehensive 3-31 to 3-7 victory over Boherlahan Dualla last Saturday in the mid semi final. This sets up a mid final clash against Gortnahoe-Glengoole with no date yet decided. This will be a repeat of this years mid junior league final.

GAA SEASON TICKET
Anyone who avails of the GAA season ticket for intercounty matches may be interested to know that online sales and renewals for 2017 will commence on Monday Oct 10th. Prices: Adult €99, Juvenile €20, Adult Club+ €200
