UNDER 21 FOOTBALL

Our under 21 footballers repeated the feat of the team of 2015 as they claimed the clubs 2nd under 21 B county football final last weekend. In a good honest encounter we were the better side in the first half and went in at the break 5 points ahead thanks in part to an Eanna Ran goal. We moved further ahead in the second half but a Killenaule fightback closed the gap to 2 points. However our defence stood tall and held on for a well deserved 2 point victory 1-7 to 1-5. Congratulations to all the panel & management on getting the year off to such a great start for the club.
