Under 12: Our Under 12 Group 2 & Group 4 football teams suffered defeats to Holycrosson Saturday 29th in very poor conditions in Ballycahill. Next round of matches will have taken place against Gortnahoe on Tuesday April 1st. Upcoming fixtures Group 4 versus Loughmore-Castleiney in Castleiney on Tuesday 8th April. Time To Be Confirmed.  Under 12 Group 2 versus Loughmore-Castleiney in Castleiney on Tuesday 8th April. Time To Be Confirmed.   

Under 14: First football match of the year is against Moycarkey-Borris on Thursday April 3rd in Littleton at 6:45 pm.

Under 16: Will have played their first football match of the year on Monday March 31stagainst Durlas Og.

 Annual Church Gate Collection: The Upperchurch-Drombane Juvenile GAA Club Annual Church Gate Collection will be taken up this weekend (April 5th/6th) at all masses.

A celebration of the U8 and U16 teams achievements took place in Upperchurch Hall on Dec 2nd. Paddy Stapleton presented certificates to the Under 8’s and medals to the U16 team.

U 8’s win the 2011 Meagher cup

Our under 8 panel won the Meagher Cup in Borrisoleigh on Saturday morning. They beat Drom-Inch & Templederry in the first two games to set-up a winner takes all clash with Borrisoleigh in the final game. In a tense game, Upperchurch won by two points to capture the cup for the first time. Congrats to all.

U12’s 2011 shield competition

The Under 12 group 2 and group 4 teams took part in a Shield competition on Saturday Sept 24th 2011. The group 4 team made it to the semi final where they lost out to Moyne. The group 2 team narrowly lost out to Loughmore in the final. Thanks to all the players who took part and the management team.

U16’s bow out at the semi final stage

The Under 16’s lost out to Kiladangan in the County semi-final on Sunday morning. The final score was 2-07 to 0-08. Thanks to all the boys and management team for a great year.

There will be no under age hurling in the hall on Friday the 4th of March as an event is taking place. Under 12 football training will take place on Saturday @ 10.00 a.m. in Drombane
