Minor B Football: Pride of place goes to our minor B footballers following their victory over Ballyporeen in the County Final last Sunday in Golden. We were down a point at half time against an excellent Ballyporeen side who threatened our goals with a very attacking style of play. Credit has to go to our defence who stood firm and the team as a unit who were engaged in a see-saw battle in the second half before eventually coming out on top on a scoreline of 1-9 to 0-10. Paul Shanahan accepted the cup on behalf of the team and mentors, Fr. Joe Walsh, Patrick Purcell, Paudie Stapleton and Viv Downey whose efforts throughout the year provided the platform for a great success for the parish.

Under 21 Hurling: The under 21 B hurlers are fixed to play Gortnahoe on Saturday at 2.30 in Littleton in the mid championship. Check fixtures.

Bragging Rights: Well done to all who participated, organised and supported fight night against Holycross in Younges the Ragg. The night proved to be an overwhelming success and was a great form of entertainment against our traditional rivals and neighbours.

Climbing Wall: The newly constructed climbing wall requires people who are interested in becoming supervisors for climbing and boldering activity. Contact Adam Challen on 085-1745864 for further details.

Bás: The club would like to extend its sympathy to the families of Tom Quinlan Cappanaleigh  and John Ryan (Jerry) Castlehill on their recent bereavements. Go ndéana Dia trócaire orthu.
