Senior Hurling: The senior hurlers drew with Templederry in a challenge game last Sunday morning. The match finished 2-12 apiece and provided a good work out for our lads ahead of upcoming competitions.

Membership: Membership is now due and can be paid through registrar Colm Ryan. Colm can be contacted on 086-1589498. Prompt payment of membership is essential to ensure all players are covered by insurance for games.

County Board table Quiz: Our club is taking part in this year’s All County Table Quiz organized by Tipperary County GAA Board and our local heat is being held on this Fri Feb 21st in Oliver Ryan’s Bar.

On that night Fran Curry will call out the questions live on Tipp Fm to thousands of quiz enthusiasts all over the county and we will be ready to join in from our local venue.

Participants must be seated by 9pm and be ready for the first round of questions which are all general knowledge. It costs €40 per table and all individual €10 entries will be entered in a special draw to be held on Co Final night with a weekend voucher and Garth Brook’s tickets as prizes. The winner(s) from our heats will go forward to the Grand County Final being held in The Dome, Semple Stadium on Fri March 14th where the outright winning table will receive €2,000 and there are four All Ireland tickets and four Tipperary club season tickets for the two runner-up tables. There is also the added incentive for the highest scoring team qualifying under Scór rules to go forward and represent Tipperary in the All Ireland Scór Final. So if you want to test your knowledge against the best in our area and maybe the best in the county, turn up at 9pm this Fri night in Oliver Ryan’s Bar.

Bás: The club would like to extend its sympathy to Teresa Bourke Ballyboy on the death of her Mother. Go ndéana Dia trocaire uirthi.
