Upperchurch Drombane GAA Notes

Senior Hurling: Victory against Holycross last Sunday on a scoreline of 1-19 to 0-15 in the ragg ensures progression to the next round of the County Championship.

Our Annual Golf Classic gets underway on the 18th & 19th of July in the Tipperary Golf & Country Club, Dundrum. Anyone wishing to book a tee off time or sponsor a tee box please contact club secretary Donal Hayes on 087-1176433. Entry price of 220 euro per team of four and dinner is included on the day. The top prize is two rounds of four ball in the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club.

Clubhouse Patron Fundraising Plan: A big thank you to all who have signed up for this financing initiative. The response to date has been excellent and in the coming weeks we hope to finalise

individual payment arrangements.  In the meantime, if there are others interested in getting involved please contact any committee member for further details.

Tipperary minors: Best of luck to Paul Shanahan who lines out with Tipperary minor footballers next Sunday in Killarney. Hard luck to Gavin Ryan who was involved with Tipperary minor hurlers against Limerick in the Munster semi final last Wednesday.

Bás: The club would like to extend its sympathy to the Ryan (Anthony) family Newtown Drombane and the Kinnane family Rusheen Upperchurch on their recent bereavements. Go ndéana Dia trócaire orthu.
