Our senior footballers exited the mid championship last week going down to Loughmore-Castleiney by a single point. After falling 7 points down at one stage we staged a spirited comeback to draw level coming up to full time but it was Loughmore who got the decisive point to win by 11 points to 10. This brings an end to an action packed year at senior level that saw us reach our first ever football county quarter final and also come mightily close to winning a maiden mid senior hurling title. Thanks to players and the management teams for all the their hard work throughout the year.

U21 hurling is the final grade we are involved in this year and the mid championship begins on Sat Nov 2nd as we face Boherlahan Dualla at 2pm in Drombane. Thurles Sarsfields & Loughmore-Castleiney are the other teams in our group.

James Barry has announced his retirement from intercounty hurling having picked up 2 All Ireland titles and an All Star award in his 7 years representing Tipperary. James has represented the club impeccably at all times on the national stage and best of luck to him in his intercounty retirement.
