After a relatively quiet period in terms of club activities over the past month the weekly notes should be back more regularly from now on with updates.

MOHER HILL 7K IN AID OF BREAST CANCER IRELAND

Thanks to all who took part, donated or helped out in the organisation of our Moher Hill 7k on December 31st. The support was phenomenal and in total €3500 was raised which will be presented to the charity in the coming weeks. Well done to our 3 category winners. Fastest Male: Denis McCullagh, Fastest Female: Caroline Hassett, Fastest Player: Sean Shanahan. A large gallery of photos from the event can be seen on our facebook page.

IRELAND LIGHTS UP

We are halfway through the 4 weeks of Ireland Lights Up with great numbers turning up in the field so far to walk. The high turnout means we are well on our way to reaching the 4,000km target. All are welcome to come down next Wednesday evening where the floodlights will be on from 7:30pm-8:30pm for people to walk, get some exercise and have a chat also.

INTERCOUNTY FOOTBALL

Well done to Luke Shanahan who was introduced for the Tipperary senior footballers against Limerick last weekend and got on the scoresheet, scoring 1-1.

OLD MATCHES ON YOUTUBE

A number of old GAA matches involving the club were added to the club youtube channel over the Christmas period for supporters to enjoy.

2024 CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Membership for 2024 is now available to purchase on our website with all rates remaining the same as 2023. Adult Player: €100. Adult Non Player: €50. Adult Non Player with gym: €100. Under 21 Player: €60. Juvenile Player(u17): €20. Juvenile Player Family Rate)2+ players): €40

PREMIER CO-OP LOTTO

You can now play the Premier Co-Op Lotto online at http://upperchurchdrombanegaa.ie/draws and help support Upperchurch Drombane Juvenile GAA.  There was no winner of the overall jackpot last week. There were 4 match winners who received €40 each. The jackpot for next week now resets to €11,400 Tickets must be bought by 8pm on Tuesday to be in the draw. You can also buy tickets at Ryan's Shop, Drombane Co-Op, Pa's Bar, Kinane's Pub or Oliver Ryan's Pub.
