CAHILL CUP FINAL

Well done to our senior hurlers who claimed the first title of the year for the club when defeating Holycross-Ballycahill in the Mid Cahill Cup final on Tuesday night. A bright start saw us move into a 5 point lead and despite a Holycross fightback we took a 7 point lead into half time. In the second half we maintained control and claimed a 2-24 to 1-20 victory. This is our 3rd triumph in the Cahill Cup, matching the achievements of 2000 & 2010.

SENIOR HURLING

The final group game in the county league is against Kiladangan in Puckane this Sunday 15th May at 12pm. 5 of the 6 teams in the group are separated by only 2 points so it is all still to play for. Best of luck to the team.

JUNIOR HURLING

Our junior hurlers also play their final league group game this Sunday against Cahir in Drombane at 3pm. Both ourselves & Cahir are the only unbeaten teams in the group.

TIPPERARY MINOR HURLERS

Well done to Paddy Phelan who played at 12 on the Tipperary minor team who defeated Clare in the Munster final last night(Thursday)
